MOXIE — L’Océan Intérieur

Soul urge number 2: what it describes

Your soul urge number — also called the heart’s desire number — is calculated from the vowels of your full birth name. It describes what you need in order to feel right, which is not always what you ask for out loud. In MOXIE it is called the Carrying Wind. This page is about soul urge number 2.

What it describes

Your deep emotional need goes beyond love itself: you need a real, continuous sense of security, with few tensions or unspoken things that could weaken the bond over time.

In practice, you thrive with someone who communicates their feelings clearly, who does not leave you in doubt, and who settles disagreements quickly rather than letting a chill set in. Silence weighs on you far more than a real disagreement voiced openly.

I need to know where I stand with you, all the time.
A question to sit with

What makes you doubt most in a relationship: a real conflict, or a silence you cannot read?

How it is calculated

Only the vowels of your full birth name are kept: A, E, I, O, U, and Y when it sounds like a vowel.

Each one is given its value — A is 1, E is 5, I is 9, O is 6, U is 3 — those values are added together, then reduced to a single digit, except 11, 22 and 33, which are kept.

The vowels are taken as the carriers of what is felt rather than what is shown. That is why this number describes a need, not a behaviour.

A worked example

Take the name MARIA KIM. Only the vowels are kept.

A 1 · I 9 · A 1 · I 9

Added together, that gives 20, then 2 + 0 = 2 — soul urge number 2.
