Because the three things it looks at move, each at its own pace. Your personal day turns over nine values. Your month number changes with the next month. The Moon moves every day.

The positions are astronomical and calculated, not approximated. That is the difference between a reading that lands on the right day and a text that could have been written at any time.

What reaches you by email, and what stays in the app

Every morning, the sky of the day reaches you by email: the Moon, the retrogrades, what the day is asking.

The part that depends on your numbers stays in the app, for a simple reason: your date of birth never leaves your device, the server does not know it, and so it cannot calculate your Tide of the Day for you.

You can stop the email without cancelling the subscription. A link sits in every one of them.
